nine adults, two babies, a mountain of presents, two homemade cakes, homemade ice cream and even a pink hair bow (for a little while anyway). so fun. a million thanks to auntie courtney for the wonderful photos.
Totally adorable! And I am so jealous of that doll cake. I always wanted one when I was a kid because my mom had all these cake decorating books and the doll cake seemed like the coolest thing ever.
i know, that pic is awesome! i was too lazy to caption anything, but my mind was reeling with possibilities for that one. jack does seem truly shocked that violet was either 1) able to procure such a sought after fashion item, or 2) so excited about clothes, what the hell?
cross-posted with taryn. and taryn, did you notice the hole in the bottom of the cake? my mom made this perfect barbie cake, hauled it in perfect condition all the way from san diego, and the first thing i did was jam my thumb into it while putting it in the fridge.
